Challenge
Over the span of 10 months, Puente Creative Studios led the complete branding, planning, and production of the 2025 Anesis Therapy Multicultural Mental Health Conference.
Centered on the theme “Sacred Spaces,” we developed a comprehensive visual identity exploring how mental health journeys through cultural perspectives can be transformative when held in supportive environments.
Serving 550 registered attendees and 40 vendors, we created an experience that honored diverse healing practices while establishing the conference as a groundbreaking platform for multicultural voices in mental health.

Goal
This project acknowledged the immediacy of mental health needs across multicultural communities and experiences. Through intentional design choices spanning environmental graphics to digital assets, we created visual narratives that facilitated meaningful dialogue about cultural approaches to healing.
Our work emphasized how design can serve as a bridge, making space for conversations that honor both individual experiences and community. The visual identity became a container for transformation, allowing attendees to see themselves reflected in the work while exploring new perspectives on mental wellness for their practice.

Result
The conference identity carried the conference through two consecutive years and grew every measurable channel.
Attendance rose from 400 to 550, vendor participation from 25 to 40, sponsorships doubled from 6 to 12, and the email list grew from 500 to 800. Over 10 months, we creative directed a 40+ person production team, including a 10-person creative team, delivering the full suite of conference materials and the conference website.
The visual language focused on bubbles and flowing forms to hold the balance between vulnerability and taking up space. Iridescent surfaces refract light through different cultural lenses, giving multicultural healing a system that feels both sacred and contemporary.

Cultivating a Sacred Space.
